Lest I forget. I finally googled for a solution to my problem where nvim more often than not had artifacts... in the form of lines overlapping... and other things.

This happens regardless of terminal. I've tried black box, kitty, alacritty, gnome terminal.. all the same.

For me, the solution was to comment out set title in my init.vim.
